Why Mix Cacao Paste into a CBD Oil? How is This Different Than A Regular CBD Oil?
We mix Cacao Paste into our CBD Oils for 2 reasons: 1.) Increased Absorption & 2.) a beneficial "entourage effect" of Cacao & CBD together.
Cacao is rich in flavonoids, minerals, and fats (Cacao butter) that impart a helping hand in the absorption of it's nutritional profile as well as compounds it's mixed with like CBD. Cacao butter is a highly absorbable fat and when combined with MCT allows for anything else mixed into the blend to be soaked quickly into the body. MCT oil alone is sufficient but we aim to improve the experience of Hemp Oil Extract products by adding Cacao Paste to the mix.
Now the flavonoids, minerals, and active compounds in Cacao all impart their own unique stimuli to the body. Cacao works on many of the same receptors in our body as cannabinoids and, if good cacao, can impart a bit of an altered experience for most. Cacao & CBD work on the CB2 receptor and help the body to release Anandamide, or the "Bliss Molecule" into the bloodstream. Anandamide is linked to improved moods and overall better wellness. When both Cacao & CBD are working to release Anandamide together simultaneously, this is a much quicker experience of relief for the consumer. This is why our Cacao CBD Oil is different - we bring in an extra element to the "entourage effect"!
